Sofia - love letters to my granddaughter
Dear Sofia, Your world is so soft. full of wonderful fabrics that make your skin feel smooth. I should have started taking care of my skin and body many years ago. At this point, I have very transparent skin and skinny chicken legs. I am officially a grandpa. I think I'm going to like writing to you through space and time. I imagine you at 19 in your first year of college. Just when young are thinking about your future. By then, I'm afraid, this body that is now held together with stitching and pickles, will be available to you a different way. Now if you're sneaking around when you are ten, then this may be a bit hard to read. I've never been tested but I'm pretty sure I write at the seventh grade level or maybe higher! I know I'm writing randomly but we just got started and there is some method to my madness. Sometimes it helps me to just start writing even if it seems a bit non-sensical which this is.
